The 7th Annual FriendRaiser raised $52,000!!!!
I can’t thank everyone involved with our FriendRaiser enough for the magnificent event that occurred on August 24th. We had an outstanding group of volunteers who worked for months to see that the event would be memorable and a tremendous celebration of our 40thAnniversary. To our many guests, thank you for coming and enduring the heat to participate in our celebration of 40 years of history and a new beginning at FineLine Stables. We greatly appreciate your support and generosity. We are already planning for next year’s event and we will build on the success of 2013. Be sure to mark your calendar as soon as the date is set. You won’t want to miss TRI’s 2014 Event – it’s going to be bigger and better than ever with a dance floor, more games and more time to mingle with your TRI family! I am so excited about the wonderful year TRI is having. We are serving record numbers of students this year by offering more classes to our current and new students. I can’t help but be in awe as I watch TRI and all of the positive energy that is being generated in all areas! TRI is very lucky indeed to have so much wonderful support, students, staff and volunteers!!

Meet TRI’s new Equine Manager Michele Green
As TRI’s Equine Manager, Michele’s primary responsibilities will be the health and training of our horses, but she is also a PATH International Advanced Certified Instructor! Michele is a private riding instructor/trainer in the Dayton area and focuses on dressage – she is a USDF Bronze Medalist.
Michele’s parents raised Quarter Horses, and they always foaled the mares out at home and kept the youngsters there until they started training, so caring for the horses was required from the time she was old enough to take on chores.
Michele is a qualified horse trainer and instructor and will be a true asset to our Programming Team!
Michele has a BS in Biology from Northeastern State University (Oklahoma) and believes that everyone, regardless of circumstance, who is paying to learn to ride a horse deserves to receive quality instruction from someone who knows how to actually do what they are teaching. Welcome, Michele!!

Thank You JC Plummer and Emma Kirkpatrick JC and Emma were our Student Riders at the FriendRaiser and did a marvelous job showing our friends why our programming is so powerful. The student demonstration will always be the highlight of this event. Until one sees the joy in a student’s eyes as he or she navigates their horse around the ring, it is impossible to fully comprehend the importance of therapeutic riding. To Emma and JC- Thank you! We are all so proud of both of you!!
So Many Thank You’s!
