The tuition that Therapeutic Riding Institute charges its participants represents a fraction of the real cost of each service. Tuition is evaluated annually towards year-end for any changes that might be made to the coming year. Tuition varies according to the program.
Lesson Fees: All lesson fees are due prior to the program. If a student is participating in a special program session, all fees must be paid upfront. If a payment plan is needed, it must be established with the Program Director in advance.
WEEKLY LESSON PROGRAM:
Families have the option to pay for their weekly lessons in the following ways:
We offer several ways to pay:
1. One Time or Recurring Online Credit Card. You will find a place to pay for your lesson fees via credit card in the emailed invoice you receive each month/quarter.
2. One Time or Recurring ACH:Download Form
3. In person: Cash, Check or Money Order written to TRI
4. Mail in TRI, 3960 Middle Run Road, Spring Valley, OH 45370
Balance Pay: Students registered in our weekly lessons are encouraged to set up recurring payments. The amount will be based on the number of lessons scheduled for the remaining 2021 and divided by months. Payment will be automatically charged on the 15th of each month. Payments may be set up on a credit card or through ACH.
For example: A student who registers to ride for the entire program year beginning in March will be charged $155 a month from March – November or a total of 9 payments. ($45 a lesson x 31 weeks = $1395 ÷ 9 months = $155 per month)

Quarterly Pay: Students registered in our weekly lessons may set up quarterly payments. Payment is expected prior to lessons beginning. Any rider in good standing will receive 1 Fun Friday Pass per payment.
For example: A student who registers to ride beginning in March will be expected to pay $465 by March 13 and by June 13 and by Sept 13.
PER SESSION PROGRAMS: Students registered in a specific program that runs for a short time are expected to pay for the program in its entirety 2 weeks prior to the start date. (No Fun Friday Passes will be granted for these programs)
