Kathy Corbett

Kathy began working in a therapeutic riding program in Tacoma, Washington when she was in college. She was trained by some of the pioneers of therapeutic riding from California’s Project RIDE. After volunteering at various programs throughout the country, she came back home to Dayton where she got connected with TRI in 1998. Kathy became a Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor with NARHA in 1999. She served as TRI’s Head Instructor from 2000-2004. In 2004 she returned to working in the health care industry as a practice manager.

Kathy served on the Board of Directors from November 2011 – 2014, and left to return to the arena.  Kathy has served on almost every committee TRI has ever created and is always ready to help with projects. She also teaches some of the most creative classes at TRI!
