Thank you so much to everyone who joined us for our 2018 Annual Celebration! We had a wonderful time catching up with everyone over our winter break from classes.

This year’s dinner was a special one, as it also acted as our first ever Chili Cook-Off! We had an amazing 15 entries of varying types and spice levels that really made for a fun competition. In the end, TRI volunteer Morgan Madden took the crown as TRI’s Chili Cook-Off Champion with her delicious white chicken chili!

During our program portion, we recapped our favorite highlights from 2018, took a moment to reflect on one of our most special volunteers passing – Boo, got a heartfelt update on the IT’S TIME Campaign from Christine and celebrated our award winners:

100+ Hours Club: Jan, Penny, Lisa, Rose, Isabella, Christine and Goodwill’s JobCom

Volunteer Group of the Year: Goodwill’s JobCom

Volunteer of the Year: Christine Walker

Thank you to those who made this evening possible – Trader Joe’s, Canopy Creek, Junior League of Dayton, our Chili Cook-Off participants and our “Cookie Fairies” that provided our amazing dessert display.
