Chloe & Boo 2017 (2)

Chloe

Sponsored by:Crossman & Maciorowski Logo

Horse: Boo sponsored by Kathy Foland, Partner with Thrivent Financial
Color: Purple
Age: 10

Reason for Racing:

Chloe is racing because she wants TRI to be able to expand their summer camp program. Chloe would spend all day at the barn if she could!
Chloe’s Story

Chloe started riding with TRI in 2013, when she was just 6 years old. Even then, her passion for horses overshadowed her challenges. Having been diagnosed with a form of epilepsy that same year, spending time at the barn helped balance the time spent in the hospital. Recently, Chloe was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes as well. While this has required some adjustments in Chloe’s routine, it has certainly not slowed her down when it comes to riding. Chloe is racing to help TRI open the door to more students and to bring awareness to Type 1 Diabetes. Her jockey silks will feature the diabetes ribbon and she is ready to win!

 Mary Camille & Arizona 2017 (1)

Jamie Wilson of Coldwell Banker Heritage

Horse: Arizona sponsored by Town & Country: Kettering
Color: Green
Age: 27

Reason for Racing:

Mary Camille is racing because she wants TRI to move into their own home where she can ride all year round!

Mary Camille’s Story

Mary Camille has been riding with TRI for 15 years. Ask anyone who has ever worked with her and they’ll tell you that she most looks forward to winning trophies! She loves to socialize with all the TRI volunteers and horseback riding is the highlight of her entire existence. No matter what time of year it is, you can be sure that Mary Camille is asking about when the next horse show will be.  Her favorite thing to do in lessons is to trot and she always has a smile on her face. Mary Camille is racing to help TRI find a permanent home that will permit her to ride year round. This is her sport and she wants to ride more! In honor of her dedication and love for horse shows, her jockey silks feature a trophy!

Reagan & Nick 2017 (2)

Reagan

Horse: Nick Sponsored by Riverscape Counseling
Color: Pink
Age: 13
Reason for Racing:
Reagan is racing so that TRI can expand to serve more individuals (She also wants the horses to get extra apples!)
Reagan’s Story

Reagan started riding with TRI in 2015 and has never looked back! She is working on advanced riding skills and loves to ride.  Last session, Reagan made huge strides in her riding and has almost mastered the art of the posting trot! Riding is Reagan’s sport where she works hard. It’s not always easy, but she definitely feels proud of herself when she’s finished with her lesson. Reagan’s favorite game to play is sharks and minnows, so her jockey silks will feature a fish. She’s a fierce competitor and one to watch in this year’s Triple Crown!
